Admin, how could having multiple accounts be prevented ? Or are there any ways to at least minimize these ? They too , can verify their pics in both accounts ( but unable to verify phone numbers ) ...

I am unsure too if , these are allowed now?

I have the same Q its very deceiving, and its basicly lying to the people on here! It happened 2 me yesterday giving somebody advice and trying 2 make them feel better...just 2 find out you were talking 2 a liar on the forums,cuz the same person put up multible Threads under 2 different names! I feel like a fool and dont think its right specialy after they use another lie to rectify themselfs!

If i see someone has two or more accounts i report them myself. Im not sure if he can keep them from opening another account. But it is a darn good question sissy.

I think once it is brought out into the open that all accounts should be closed and the person/phone # involved should recieve a permanent ban

Yes y have 2 accounts.

I never like to go into details about this kind of stuff for obvious reasons, but the way I deal with it is by attempting to minimize the problem as much as possible, rather than prevent it (which is impossible).

To that effect, I attack the problem from both ends. I try to make it as difficult as possible to get fully verified, and now with the Karma System, I make the "cost" in the cost/benefit ratio of having multiple accounts a lot more "expensive", because users will lose all their Karma if caught, which in the end, is simply not worth it as it takes a while to build up your Karma Score.

Furthermore, I do checks on the backend to attempt to find and weed out multiple account, but I can't go into details about that.

In the end, it's simply not worth it to have multiple accounts, because I make sure the consequences outweigh any perceived benefits.
