What sets apart a girl you befriend and a girl you want to pursue romantically
I want to hear a male perspective because i've wondered why guys in my life only want to pursue me rather than befriend me. I am quite shy at first (not flirty either), which makes me understand it more but I would assume that would also make me unappealing romantically so i'm confused. I'm not complaining too much about it but as someone who prioritizes friendships it's sometimes disheartening.
