Wind whips its angry coils,howling and snarling with it the early darkness of fall. Sitting alone the soft glow of a fire my only light,warming me some,keeping the chill from my bones.Casting shadows upon my walls,I think she's with me ,but there's no one at all.Stirring the ashes,are these from the bridges I burned? Thoughts from the past,I soon retire. A long cold night here by my fire.
