Why arent swear words acceptable ? I mean not just on this site but in everyday use ? cuz i swear alot and everyone that i know swears alot too . Its just a normal everyday occurrence for me and i think nothing of doing it so why do i have to change my style of talking in certain circumstances like say a job interview ? And why are swear words censured on here even though it is supposed to be an adult site ? I mean seriously does anyone really get offended or give a f.u.c.k if they happen to hear or read a swear word ? Pmsl

Personally I get offended whenever I read/ heard of swear words whether in English or my own language .

Imagine a forum where swear words are acceptable .. It will be a chaos and I don't think it will be resulted to a healthy discussion ..,

Well~~~IMHO ~~

Swearing has gotten out of control everywhere. When you swear it is supposed to show your extreme displeasure, but so many do it that it has lost much of.its effectiveness.(please note I have a bad case of pottymouth myself)

Why are you offended by words ? I mean unless someone was to use a swear word to call you a derogatory name then you should have no reason to be offended :)

I grew up in the environment where swear words are of devil words hence it's considered worst words .., it has something to do with how I was brought up ..,

Well to know me u would think i was married to a sailor. I swear alot, but there are certain words i dont use....unless i jus cant help it. But i think the reason its not accepted is because not everyone is raised around it, its not a part of every home, like Jesus and Santa Claus....each family has the rite to choose what to believe and how to speak. We cant force religion on anyone, we shouldnt force vulger language on them either

if you think about the meaning of some of the swear words then theyre not even being used properly in the first place. I bet half the people on this site didnt even know that f.u.c.k is as is an abbreviation. First person to figure it out and post it here gets a shiny smiley face lol

I agree 100%. I have a real bad potty mouth most of the time. I have over time, learned how to edit myself in mixed company or around the elderly. It's a matter of respect, I think.
