My (24m) bf of 8 months wants to break up with me (23f) over wow

My bf and I have been dating almost a year. Really haven't had any major issues until now. We play WoW (Word of Warcraft) together and are in the same guild. We had previously left a guild that was very toxic and it really did a number on me mentally being there. We have been in this new guild about 2 months and I love it! I've made some really cool friends here and my mental state is so much better. However my bf hates it and wants to quit and join a different guild.
I'm fine with him joining a different guild but he says if I don't come with him then he will break up with me. His argument is that he feels the guild is treating him poorly (I disagree and have tried to make things better) and that by staying in the guild I am choosing them over him and I could just make friends in a new guild. He said that girls will often times issue ultimatums to their boyfriends to stop playing games to spend more time with them and the boyfriends will more than likely just choose to stop playing games because they care more about their gf than gaming. He feels that if I choose to stay in the guild it is a betrayal to him for choosing friends over a significant other and will end the relationship over it. I feel he is being unreasonable and even though I have only been here 2 months these people mean a lot to me.
I know you can break up with anyone for any reason and no one is owed a relationship. If I can't get him to see reason is this relationship worth being in?
tl:dr Boyfriend wants to break up because I don't want to leave a guild. Should I let him?
