ELI5: In a game, an item has a 10% to drop but it won't take you 10 tries to get a guaranteed drop for it even though it should be a 1 out of 10 chance. Why is that?
Is there even a way to calculate the actual amount of tried needed or is it impossible?
Edit: Thank you for all the answers! Though I wasn't able to reply to all, I was able to read them all and gain some knowledge. I now know the answer to my question. Once again, thanks!
