What is the right move after finding out your son isn't yours

Within the last hour I just received a peace of mind DNA test for my son and I, which came back with a zero possibly of being his farther... I'm obviously destroyed by this news.
That being said I woke his mum and broke the news within a few minutes of reading the results, I don't hold any grudges against her as I believe she was positive that I was the child's father as we had regular sex but one guy made it in before we really got together an she claims to have taken the morning after pill with no contact from the guy ever since with no knowledge of his full name or home town.
But here I am 2 years later bring up his bloodline with my last name. I know my son will one day figure out he ain't my son or something will build elsewhere and pop one day, opening a can of worms I don't think I'm ready to deal with. So my question is how does a man move forward with the best interest of the boy, which will be farther less if I walk away, just that damage that comes with the loss of a farther, makes me want to stay alone but knowing what I know now I'm worried and lost...
Just found out my son isn't biologically mine and his bio dad is a ghost of his mother past. How do I handle this one Dating.mobi?
Edit: I'm in the UK

Oh sorry for the loss however its better to let the innocent boy know immediately and accept him and if he is a good kid and you just love each other you won't have problem with the kid
But if he is a bad kid please cast him away its better than the pain, moreover he might be a threat to your real children eventually moreover its beautiful to have a faithful partner that won't be sleeping around with just any man, moreover don't worry dust your mind and get better days
