Most intelligent breeds of dogs/cats (by lilili)
Well as for me i have had a few dogs, the best ones to me though would be: weimaraner, lab, husky, boxer, bassett hound, dalmation and the blood hound! Everyone of them was smart as could be!
I have read from several sources that the Border Collie is usually considered the most intelligent breed of dog, but give me a loveable mutt like the one I have now any day.
@nightwolf58: hell i know what you mean, the mutt i have now is great which she is only a few weeks old but still loveable and playful at times
What of the red tibetan mastiff. I was thinking that for it to be that expensive then it must be super intelligent.
I agrees mutts do make some of the best dogs. Me personlly I'm a pitbull man. I have owned several breeds of dogs ranging from house dogs to huntin an search an rescuse. An by when raised in the right enviorment an proper training an handling this breed makes the best by far. Ppl hardly give a pitbull credit for the smarts when I have seen some way smarter then a poodle or lab. Pits are a very strong breed an have unlimited strength an loyliaty. They are very versatile an can adapt quickly when needed.
@Pitbull24: I agree with you there Pitbull24. I have a female pitbull she is a sweetheart. Very very smart dogs. Raised with alot of love there a very gentle dog. Still people are so afraid to let there dogs out when i have mine outside.
They just judge by the cover man. Some of the greatest books has dirty covers lol. Just like guns. I hate what happened at the movie in auruor an my heart goes out to them. But guns don't kill ppl. Ppl kill ppl. So they just blame the breed or the gun an not the person. They blame the dog or gun cuz they wanna see good in the person. I will admit they are some cases that a pit is "crazy" an needs to be laid down but its not their fault its mans for bad breeding. But any dog can "turn" on you. I had to get 17 stiches in my tricep from a lad latching onto my arm.
