Her name is Alice, and she collects things

My name is Alice,
And I collect things.
That?s all her tinder profile said. Bit weird, but enough to draw my attention. She wasn?t ugly either, which by the standards of any hookup app would be enough to swipe right. Her cinnamon colored hair matched her eyes, her skin seemed porcelain and most of her photos showed her in a low cut dress that would distract the pope from prayer.
Basically, way out of my reach.
When the ?It?s a match? pop up came, I assumed she?d instantly ghost me. But she didn?t.
We talked, a lot. She was smart, funny and kind enough to send a laughing emoji with any stupid joke I made. Again I was mentally prepared for her to say this all had been a horrible prank for some good Dating.mobi screenshots, but she didn?t. We actually hit it off. For real.
So, we went on a date. She was complaining her friend had ditched their plans to go to the movies, casually mentioning the cinema was close to her place. Somehow I think she must have known I was still mustering up the courage to ask her out, cause she gladly accepted my offer to go with her.
Might have been the Sesame Street movie, I still would?ve been pumped ? and sweating profusely. God damn. Don?t even know what movie it was anymore. I was just trying to keep my **** together? and getting myself hyped over the possibility of sex.
?You okay?? she asked smiling, her tight grey dress bringing out her blue eyes, even in the darkness of the cinema. I began to worry I had said any of my thoughts out loud. ?The movie finished a minute ago?.?
Thank ****. That could?ve gotten real awkward.
?Ah yeah, I?m sorry. Was still processing it.? What the hell was the movie about? ?Really interesting story.?
She chuckled, taking out her phone. ?It?s still pretty early. Wanna come back to my place? Do you drink coffee??
I wanted to scream out a bigass yes. ?Eh, sure. Yeah.?
Honestly I was on cloud nine, even checking for the condoms in my pocket multiple times as we were walking back.
Her apartment was everything I expected it to be. Cutesie signs everywhere telling us to live, laugh and love and a smell of some kind of flower I would not be able to distinguish from others. She directed me to the sofa, as she disappeared into the kitchen and came back with two cups of coffee a few seconds later.
I don?t know what happened in between but we were full on making out a bit after that. Must?ve been damn good coffee, I guess.
?Want to take it to the bedroom??
Oh man, I really did. Didn?t even say another word before getting up to follow her, I think.
Should?ve gotten up and walked away.
Her bedroom. I still get nauseous thinking about it. Glass jars stocked up against the walls, all carrying the same damn thing.
Eyes. Staring. Looking around.
I know it sounds mental but they were moving, I swear.
And at that moment they were all focused on me, as my knees began to buckle and my head started to throb.
?What the h-?
?I?m sorry,? she said, and kissed me again, ?I'll take good care of them.?
Her name is Alice, and she collects things.
I don?t remember much since that moment, only that I woke up blind. But I hope this story can help someone, anyone.
Don?t meet with her, ever. Chat with her at your own risk, if you think you?re strong enough. She does make for a good conversationalist, but she?ll lure you in with her words ? and her looks. She'll do anything to expand her collection.
I still worry what she does with all of them.
