the royal blue letter {part two}

So, loads of people were really helpful, I ordered some hidden cameras from Amazon last night and they arrived this morning at my local locker. I truly didn?t want to go outside, what if someone got into my home again? But no, I refuse to become crazy. I refuse to let it take over my life.
Nevertheless, the walk there felt strange. I kept feeling like someone was following me, watching my every move ? but I guess I should expect to feel like that after the letter. I want to believe it was just some stupid prank. But that video, that stupid video. It didn?t contain anything that could be used against me, but damn, it terrified me.
I took my two dogs with me, as well as my friend Drew to help me control them, since they aren?t exactly small dogs. Bacon and Sharon, my brother named them when they were still puppies ? smart ****.
All my social media is now set to private, even though there wasn?t really anything on it other than that one photo. Thankfully, I was smart enough not to use my exact name on there.
After me and Drew parted ways round the corner of my place, I noticed a package outside my house. I don?t remember ordering anything recently? I started increasing my pace slightly, scanning the area to see if anyone unusual was there. No one. I picked up the package, and that?s when I noticed it. The royal blue letter, I took a step back. I could feel my breathing turn into hyperventilating, my heart exceedingly fast.
I grabbed it, without thinking and took both things inside hastily locking the door behind me. I half chucked them onto the table before collapsing into my favourite chair.
I think twenty minutes must have past before I was actually calm enough to get up and look. I know I over reacted, you don?t have to tell me. But I was scared out of my mind.
First, the package. It was probably just something I?d ordered a couple months ago and forgotten about. Either way, it seemed the easiest to deal with. So I opened it. Inside, I found five random objects; a lighter, a smoke alarm, a tissue box, a clock and a pen. Odd. I looked inside again and saw a sticky note ?to add to your collection :)? I?ll admit, I had no idea what they meant at first.
Then it dawned on me. My hidden cameras.
I checked each item furiously and low and behold, each and every one of them had a stupid hidden camera. I instantly threw them all away, hoping it was just a coincidence. But I knew they had found out. How? I?ve no idea.
Next, the letter. I don?t want to. I want someone to tell me it?s okay, to take it away and tell me they?ll fix everything for me. But that can?t happen, I can?t tell anyone I know, I can?t bring anyone else into this. It?s down to me now.
I took a long, deep breath before carefully removing the red wax seal.
?Clarissa, or should I call you Cassie now I?m getting to know you.. maybe you?ll let me call you Rissy??
A coincidence. Only my close friends and family have ever called me Rissy. There?s no way they could know something like that, right? Of course they could, they know almost everything about me. They?re just trying to frighten me. It?s working.
I read on.
?You didn?t try to run, good start. That means I don?t have to visit you just yet. I know your every move, as you know. I saw your dogs, your friend. Thank you for that information, it?s gotten slightly harder to find things out since you started to close your curtains. But don?t worry, we always find a way.
In my first letter, I mentioned some tasks. I stand correct, you are perfect for them. For starters, you?re a no-one. Who?s going to miss you if something happened? Your parents? Brother? Please, you moved out at sixteen and never looked back.
Who would suspect you of being my friend? No-one even knows who you are Clarissa. They probably never will, you want to keep it that way.
You already know too much to just be left alone, so your first task is to prove your loyalty. Once you?ve finished reading, you?ll hear a knock at the door. Don?t answer, wait two minutes then collect the small package that remains. Don?t open it. Drive five miles till you reach the forest, leave it in the middle of the road and go back home.

I put the letter down in shock. As soon as I took my eyes off the letter, I heard three sharp knocks on my door. Could it be?
I waited. After around five minutes I got up and retrieved the box. This time I made sure to wear gloves in case it was something criminal. Which it probably was no doubt.
It was the same royal blue as my letters, but instead of the red wax seal, there was a red ribbon wrapped around it like a small child?s birthday present.
I couldn?t risk the consequences of not doing as they said, and after all, how would I even get rid of it without it somehow leading back to me. So I got in my car, and drove to Butterfly Forest. Once I arrived, I sat and waited ? maybe I?d see someone who could help. No-one. Five minutes turned into ten minutes of nothing. I glared at the box, curiosity coursing through my veins.
I was always a curious person, doing things I shouldn?t. I know they told me not to open it, but I?m just one of those people. I can?t help myself. If I could stop myself I would, really.
I could open it without anyone realising, right? I could just tie the ribbon back up.
I want to open it so badly? Should i? there?s no one around, I?m sure I could get away with it.
