Twenty-Six Years Ago Strange Things Were Happening At The Nursing Home I Worked At That I Still Can't Explain

Aw, the spring of 94' I remember it like it was yesterday...
That year Grunge music was really big on the radio and Bill Clinton was the 42nd president.
Sorry for rambling on there...
Anyway, I was 23 at the time and working as a CNA at a place called the Sunnyside Nursing Home* in California.
Now, the Sunnyside Nursing Home was a beautiful three-story, sixty-room facility located on the outskirts of town and, was completely surrounded by woods.
That year was no different than any other year at the nursing home as the staff went about their daily lives helping to care for the patients which was normally the case.
The first sign of trouble began on the morning of April. 10th when one Mrs. Greene (86), began to scream hysterically for no apparent reason.
Upon entering her room, I was shocked to find that the walls were completely covered in her feces.
I called out for one of the nurses on staff and eventually, we were able to calm her down enough so that I could clean her up.
Of course, I was given the task of cleaning Mrs. Greene's room which really didn't bother me.
As I was cleaning the feces up, I could feel that the room was getting cold then, out of nowhere Mrs. Greene began calling my name in a deep raspy voice.
Now, this freaked me out so I began to move even faster.
The next day, I was told Mrs. Greene passed away. Of course, we all assumed she had died of natural causes that was until doctors discovered strange bruises on her body.
What followed next, was a series of events that to this day, remain a mystery.
Inexplicable events began to occur at the Sunnyside Nursing Home.
Three days after she passed away when a smell like that of sulfur began to permeate throughout the building, making it impossible for anybody to breathe.
Call buttons were going off in empty rooms and disembodied voices could be heard throughout the nursing home putting the already nervous staff, even more on edge.
By the end of the week, 10 more patients had died under mysterious circumstances. All of them with the same strange bruises on their bodies.
Around this time too, the staff began to witness a tall man about 6'5 dressed in all black entering the patient's rooms.
Also, staff and patients alike began to report sightings of Mrs. Greene in various parts of the nursing home, including me.
One night, while covering for the night shift I was doing my rounds when I heard what sounded like several voices whispering at once.
I soon discovered the voices were coming from Mrs. Jacob's room.
When I entered her room, I let out a blood-curdling scream because there standing over Mrs. Jacob was the now-deceased, Mrs. Greene.
As I called out to her, she vanished right in front of me.
Now at this point, I'd been working a 12-hour shift so I thought maybe, I hallucinated the whole thing and eventually, forgot the incident.
For a week after my incident, the hospital remained relatively calm. That calm was soon shattered though when on April 20th the body of a 25-year-old Nurse was found in the woods behind the nursing home.
Her name was Carrie and she had been working at the nursing home for over a year and, had been missing for 3 days.
Eventually, her death was ruled a suicide as she had recently broken up with her boyfriend.
Anyway, the authorities began their own investigation after receiving complaints from family members of the deceased.
Lawsuits soon followed forcing Sunnyside to close their doors for good.
Over the years, the nursing home was converted into college dorms then a treatment center but never staying long until eventually, it was abandoned.
Through the years, people have reported screams, lights, and a woman staring out the windows.
In recent years, the building has become a sort of refuge for the homeless and is why I am writing to you today...
You see, last night 5 homeless people were found dead inside the now abandoned nursing home.
So, tonight I am going back to the old nursing home to solve it once and for all...
