Men of AskReddit, What are your opinions about the Colossus of Rhodes?

If you don't know, The Colossus of Rhodes was a statue said to stand on the harbor of Rhodes (Suprise) and was taken down by an earthquake and remained in pieces for 800 years or so, Then the invading Arabs (specifically the Umayyad Caliphate) took the remaining pieces of the Colossus, and sold them off to a Jewish Merchant which took a supposed 900 camels to haul off.
Fun Fact: It's often compared to the Statue of Liberty given to America by the French, as they both resemble a defensive victory and freedom.
Supposedly there's been talk that Greece is considering rebuilding the Colossus in Rhodes while it's not "new" news as the ideas been thrown around for 4 years give or take now but is still definitely a possibility, but since the location is never specified where in Rhodes the location is up for debate, So I ask you, Is there any reason why they shouldn't? Would you visit it if it was built? Where do you think it should be built in Rhodes?
