My Animal Crossing game is Glitched?

Please help.
I am going to do my best to try to tell you the dates and such, but I?m so frazzled I don?t know how clear I?m going to be able to explain everything.
The short of it is that I?m experiencing a? glitch? I guess, in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It started at 7:15PM on the 22nd of April, right after the update.
I was going about my day, shaking trees, picking up shells. The world was good. I had developed my island pretty well, my starting fruit was oranges, but I prefer peaches so I had ended up converting my island pretty quickly into a peach island with the help of many friends.
As I was running around shaking my trees, I ended up encountering some wasps. I, of course, was unprepared and got the living **** stung out of me. This is where it started to get weird.
Everything faded to black as usual, and then? I?m at the peach tree. The peach tree with the wasps. I didn?t spawn back at my door. I was a bit taken aback, but the game was updated just that day, so I figured? maybe they changed the game?
Then I noticed my face wasn't stung. No swollen eye or anything. Again, weird? but maybe it has to do with the update?

Now, I?ve never timed myself in tree shaking, but I had shaken somewhere around 15 trees before I had gotten stung. Even if my trees were side by side by side by side in a solid wall of trees, I don?t think it is possible to shake that many trees in less than a minute? is it?
And I?m no technical genius, but at this point I had started to wonder if the update has actually messed up my Switch itself. The clock is internal in the system, not the game? right?
Whatever, I decided to go about the game. People time travel in this game, so messed up clock be damned. I didn?t feel like bothering with my bug net, so I skipped the wasp tree and started shaking the rest. As I was gathering my fruit, I saw my absolute favorite villager, Pashima. Of course, I had to talk to her. The interaction went pretty normal:
"Hey Kidders, beautiful day for a walk, huh? I wonder how your friend Olivia is doing?"
After I finished the dialogue, I saw a black and brown devil (tarantula) coming towards me, and before I had time to pull out my net? boom, fade to black annnd?.

Again, it is pretty clear it was NOT 7:15pm. It was like? an hour later? My game was VERY clearly bugged.
But this game had become my peace, so I wasn?t ready to give it up. Maybe it was the trees? (Okay guys, yes I know that this doesn?t make sense, but I just? I really wanted to take care of my island.)
So this time I decided to go fishing. I ran around the beach hoping to score some Oarfish. I saw Pashima again, and because of my slight obsession with keeping her on my island, I realized I had better talk to her and give her a present.
"Hey Kidders, beautiful day for a walk, huh? I wonder how your friend Olivia is doing?
I initiated a second dialogue with her so that I could present her with a fish. She thanked me for the Sea Bass and gave me the usual promise to take care of it.
After a quick stop into Nook?s Cranny, I made my way to the Town Center to deposit some bells, maybe even make a payment towards my mortgage. As soon as I walked through the door, the screen faded to black, and the fainting music played.
I literally have NO idea what knocked me out this time, but I ended up staring at a ****ing peach tree.
This time I was at a loss, and I just? I raged and turned off my Switch. I let it sit for a few seconds before I turned it back on.
At this point I felt like it was almost a challenge to get this game corrected, so once my Switch was powered back on? I launched Animal Crossing.

Restarting the device didn?t work. After some VERY serious debating, I decided to factory reset my console. The entire process was honestly kind of heartbreaking. Pashima, Molly, even losing Bam made my heart ache.
It was probably around 10pm, and frankly I was a little bit emotionally exhausted from this game acting up, so I set the game up to install, update, whatever other mumbo jumbo needed to be done and I went to bed.
After deciding it was time to give myself a quarantine dye job, arguing with my spouse on what to eat for dinner and binging some Netflix, I decided that it is time to check on Animal Crossing. When I woke up the console, it was reading 8:14pm, which matched the one that was displayed on my phone. Sweet success.
I went ahead and clicked to launch Animal Crossing, and relief washed over me when a pop up appeared. There was a software update. Nintendo must have realized that the last update had caused some sort of major error, so they rushed out an update.
Nintendo is such a great company, I had thought. While I let the game update, I went to my kitchen and fixed myself a drink and prepared myself for some relaxing island beginnings.
After I had the game up and running, everything was normal again. The in game clock matched my phone, my island actually started with Pashima AND peaches. I honestly felt like this might?ve been an even better start. After going through the starting ?party,? I decided that I needed to coax Pashima once more into being my friend, so I approached her, ready to woo the goat with mad conversation skills.
"Hey Kidders, beautiful day for a walk, huh? I wonder how your friend Olivia is doing?"
I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but honestly it felt like my blood had turned to ice. I hadn?t played with Olivia in my new world yet. She hadn?t come to my island, she wasn?t even showing up in my friends list in Animal Crossing.
As I was closing my Nook Phone in the game, I saw a tarantula heading my way. I didn?t even HAVE a net at this point, so I tried to outrun it. And? shocker I was bitten and knocked out.
****ing.Peach.Tree.
I was back on my old island. I didn?t even know what to do, I just stared. In the bottom corner of my screen, the time and date came up again:

I actually got goosebumps this time, and I just? I was angry, but I tried to reason it out. Troubleshooting, you know? So I grabbed my boyfriend?s Switch. I didn?t even bother to swap the profiles, I just needed confirmation that the game was properly working.
So the menu screen starts up, the stupid peppy music just fed my annoyance.
I was mashing buttons to get into the game and:

My character and the ****ing peach tree.
I don?t think my boyfriend will ever forgive me for throwing his switch across the room, but at this point it hasto be cursed, right? I can?t be crazy.
I needed to walk away from it again, because I was literally shaking so hard my teeth were cracking together. The best place to calm down is the shower, right? So I did that. I climbed into the shower tried to relax, let the hot water do its thing while I tried to come up with a rational explanation.
Now, this may have been a jump, but one of the things I realized while I was showering is that I?M the one who owns Animal Crossing. The boyfriend set it up in a way so that we only had to purchase one copy of the game and both get to play it on separate consoles. Now, his island is completely different from mine, different consoles, but MAYBE it has something to do with the profile. Maybe Nintendo caught our little work around and didn?t like it, so they patched it with the newest updates.
I was extremely pleased with myself for being logical, and I practically pranced out of the shower. No clothes, just a towel. Had to confirm my suspicions, the forums would know.
I haven?t checked yet
I am NOT crazy.
My phone says 7:15p Wed Apr 22nd.
I?m not crazyI?m not. I?m in my closet.
I can smell peaches****ingpeaches.
Please please
