What helped you get over an ex?

Edit: holy this kind of blew up. I wish I had something to promote right now hahaha...but since I don?t I will encourage you all to donate to your local food banks if you are able.
Thanks to everyone for their insight. For context, my ex and I were together for 6 years, engaged to get married, and one day I came home to her crying because she ?wasn?t ready to get married right now,? which turned into not in the mental place for a relationship anymore. It?s been about 2 years since she bailed and it still takes its toll on me.
Thank you all, again, for your kind words and insight. There is a lot of valuable advice here... except for the ones that said ?your mom?.... you guys can go **** yourselves :)

Well if you can't get over it and move on , learn to carry it around with you .
