ELI5: How come gums stop bleeding so quickly in comparison to other parts of the body? (by Sparky)

ELI5: How come gums stop bleeding so quickly in comparison to other parts of the body?

Explanation: sometimes my gums bleed after flossing, but they almost immediately stop bleeding after a minute or so without leaving scars behind. Why/how does this happen?
