My boyfriend[M21] keep "praying the gay away" after him and I[M22} have sex

Bckground: We meet around 8 months ago at my work, we started dating around 6 months ago, and we started having sex about a month ago.I[M22] haven't heard much about his family nor meet them. I have however meet a few of his friends.

My boyfriend[m21] has been "praying the gay away" after we have sex.He even prays to God for forgiveness for his "sodomy". We've had sex about 6 times and he has done this every time. I'm not sure what to do about it or how to help.

Tl;dr- My boyfriend keeps trying to pray the gay away after we have sex.
