ELI5: How are auto glass companies able to offer cash or other incentives to replace your windshield (by Sparky)
ELI5: How are auto glass companies able to offer cash or other incentives to replace your windshield? Is this insurance fraud? (USA) (AZ)
Many companies out here offer a couple hundred dollars usually or a dinner certificate to have your windshield replaced by them. How do they make money while doing this? Are they inflating the bill and then submitting it to the customer?s insurance company?
