Wife (29 f) is mad over some pictures my (36 m) ex (36 f) took of me 10 years ago

My ex girlfriend was a photographer. She recently passed away, and her mom contacted me about some photos she took of me. I told her I would definitely take them and she sent them to me. It?s a big binder of photos and sketches of me.
A set of them are photos we took on a vacation in New York. In these pictures, I?m naked. They?re not sexual or anything, they were just done on a rainy in the hotel room. She even got one in a museum at one point.
My wife is furious over these pictures. They were taken five years before I even met her. I?ve not told her that one was on display. She wants me to get rid of them. I understand putting them in storage but I don?t want to throw them away, they?re beautiful.
What should I tell her?
Tl;dr wife is mad over photos an ex girlfriend took of me and wants me to throw them away. I like them and don?t want to. What do I tell my wife?
EDIT: my ex is frequently mentioned in conversations by my parents and their friends. Usually if she had won an award or something. I know this happens in front of my wife who?s never said I word but I know it probably bothers her. My mom cut out the newspaper article about my ex?s death and saved it. Both I?m sure for me to read and for her to save, and it does talk about her accomplishments.
