I'm a guard at a containment facility. What I saw down in 7B was not human. (Part 1)

I was a guard. Stupid me. I guess that night really messed me up.

I used to work at containment facility. Just a place where they threw some really freaky people in behavior-wise. More specifically a site operated by the AHC. Site 61A they called it. Funny thing is, there was no Site 61. Just 61A. In fact, this was the only site in the entire foundation. I was assigned to the late night-early morning shift. 11PM-5AM was no biggie for me. Now I'm scared to death if I stay up between those hours.
I had arrived a little earlier than usual that night. I checked my watch before hopping out of my Tahoe. 10:55PM. I've always imagined this job being a real-life SCP Foundation, and to a degree it was. The only thing I could hear was the usual humming of the ventilation fans running in the vehicle tunnel. As I headed for the personnel entrance near the parking zone, I could make out the sounds multiple vehicles rolling down the road beside me. I stopped in front of the two steel doors leading inside and watched as the convoy passed. Usually a convoy of this size would be made up of just Humvees and the occasional MRAP, but that night was different. A couple of Humvees lead the way followed by a MRAP and then a HEMTT. This HEMTT wasn't hauling in supplies however. On the bed I could clearly see a large container-like box. It was one of the mobile containment boxes that some of the these freaks were hauled around in.
I found myself watching as the convoy slowed to a halt near the main loading gate, Gate D. Multiple guards came out of the Gate and waited as the HEMTT lowered the container from the bed to the floor. Two guards ran up the container and opened the doors while the others went inside to retrieve the subject. As far as I knew, this place hadn't taken on anyone for a very long time. Two guards stepped out of the container first followed by a girl. She looked quite young; I'd say around 18 if I recall. What could she have done to end up in this place? I decided I had wasted enough time and stepped inside to get to my post.
Now, the personnel entrance is connected to Gate D via large staging area. It was here I was able to get a better glimpse at this girl. She had blonde hair down to her shoulders and was fairly tall. But her stare was stuck to the floor and she was blindfolded. As I continued to walk I could see her getting taken down the stairs to the lower levels of the facility. Most "entities" held in this facility were real freaks and posed major hazards to people, but this girl was different. If the rest of the freaks there were bombs, this girl was a nuclear bomb.
"What do you think Dean. She's being taken down to the lower levels." My guard buddy Colton had just arrived for the shift as well. I could tell he had a sense of panic in his voice because as far as we knew, you had to be extremely dangerous to end up in the lower levels. Now, I'll explain the lower levels. This "Site" was built into a mountain. The level we were on was the central level. This facility had 7 floors above and below the central level. The levels above us contained most freaks and some other useless facility stuff. The levels below mostly contained equipment, medical stuff and more useless stuff until you came to Level 7B. 7B was simply a large concrete and titanium room roughly 60x60ft. The only way into the room was through a pair of blast doors. If that girl was going anywhere, she was going to 7B.
Me and Colton arrived at the main post and rang in for our shift. Once we loaded our guns and grabbed our gear, we were off to today's assignment. As me and Colton walked towards the stairs leading up to Level 6A, the chief security officer stopped us.
"Hey you two. I need you guys to go down to 7B and see if the guys down there are okay. They haven't radioed in ever since that new subject came in and I'm concerned something is up." The chief was very anxious about this situation and we were too, but we figured it wasn't anything big. Me and Colton took our time walking down the many flights of stairs because we were freaked out even though it may not be something big. Once we stepped into Level 7B we could see something was clearly wrong. Very wrong.
