ELI5: As a short sighted person, why are things still blurry if I look at them in the reflection of a mirror that I?m just centimetres away from?
It boggles my mind that I can look at things behind me in a mirror but they?re still blurry even though the mirror is in my field of good vision? Shouldn?t the reflections then be part of my good vision as I?m not looking directly at them from a few feet away?
