I have a Blue Heeler that somebody no longer wanted so they abandoned her out in the country side. She found her way to my house, so I took her in. I called her every name in the book trying to find out her name, but she never replied. Well one day at work my boss called me on the two way radio and I said "TenFour" and she came right to me. So really she picked out her own name "TenFour". Has anybody else have an unusual name for your pet?

Tractor,
Wierd, but my pets always end up with strange names. Spaz, because she is Neurotic and hides everytime someone comes in, plus she wigs out when you pet her. Bagheera, because she looks like the panther in the Jungle Book, Stash, because he hides stuff from you...lighters, cigarettes, string...etc...but even in the past, it is almost like animals are immune to regular human names or something...lol. How many people name their dog Steve for instance? ;)

@Bones1976: I have a dog that showed up after a tornado, I named him Russell & everytime he hears his name mentioned while I watch TV, he'll walk up to it & look at it & move his head from side to side as if he's asking what do you want...

I have a dog named bam bam and I named him that because he destroys everything lol

@Cazza: That is funny, made me laugh but I'm not the one cleaning up the tear up... What breed of dog is he?

@tractorjohn: yeah they do. I have an aunt how had two dogs. The first one was called puppy and the other one was called dog. But you have to spell dog really fast. Kind of sounds like dee o gee

@Rockhard2: funny u say that bc i named my mutt ''dog'' but there is so many weird pet names. I had a dog i named kitty, then there was a cat named shadow bc she followed me everywhere she was more like a dog really she would growl when someone knocked on the door! and the last dog i had her name was tums bc she she ate a few when she was a puppy lol

Had a mutt i named mouth because he was always running his mouth. Goofy dog didnt even shut up in his sleep!
