ELI5: How come yellow highlighter doesn't show up on paper when you photocopy it?
My mom showed me this when we worked at a hotel together. They would keep a master copy of papers that needed to be copied frequently. These master copies would say "MASTER COPY" across the paper in yellow highlighter. When you photocopied it, the highlighter didn't show up. Why??
