The pizza is any sort that you've already had and can remember. For a type of pizza (or toppings) that you've never had, you have to go obtain and eat one on your own; then you can make it appear at will.
For sanitation, the slice will appear on a paper plate (from recycled stock, and compostable) on a piece of wax paper (edit: no, recycled biodegradable paper wrapper!). Only one slice appears at a time, but nothing stops you from wishing over and over again to get multiple slices.
