Why don't we talk about mommy issues like we do daddy issues?

So I am posting this because I realized a lot of my female friends who prefer to hang around boys have very terrible mothers and will flat out say they trust men more than other women hence the reason that they seek out male friends. I of course realize being a ****ty person and parent is not related to gender, but I'm just wondering why girls who seek out male attention are said to have daddy issues and poor fathers are often blamed for most of children's problems. It's doesn't seemed to be talk about but most of my friends who would fit the stereotype of "****" have mommy issues not daddy issues.
