Ok so i am a strong, intelligent, confident, independant woman but i am also very shy. How do i overcome this? When a guy wants to talk on the phone or meet up i clam up, get scared, cold feet. I want to talk to these guys, but i dont know what to say or how to get over my fears? Anyone with any advice, plz help

@Brighteyes1211: Confidence is the word. Believe in yourself. All imagine yourself talking and chat with the guys, when the call, try to praticalise what you imagined yourself doing before. Just start by saying hi, there and then you see yourself flowing.

I used to have a panic attack everytime my phone rang so what i did was just tell them. be upfront about it. and most guys will be okay with it. once u start talking to them it gets really easy to just talk and not be nervous.

@alwayswaiting thats me, i have panik attacks. I have started telling them tht i dont do phone calls cuz of it, ive lost several, others give me a day or two b4 they ask to call. I jus dont know what to do, i'll never meet anyone if i cant talk to them. Thanks for the advice. @uc4 Thanks, i will give it a try. I finally just had to bite the bullet... call them or answer when they call. ur hearts gonna be beating fast for sure but i promise it gets easier.
and if he isnt understanding then he's a ********* who isnt worth your time. :)
