WYR go through 12 week Marines basic training, or 12 weeks of jail? Neither go on your record. If you want to actually join the Marines youâ€™d have to go through basic training again. If you fail training or get kicked out you die.

Amendment: if you are HONORABLY discharged because you get hurt or get sick, OR if you are put on leave because of a death in the immediate family or something than you have to restart after you get better, or the next chance you get.
