You are able to save the occupants of one of two burning buildings. One building contains 12 people you don't know, the other contains 1,000 golden retriever puppies. WYR save the humans or the puppies?

Edit: no one will know about your decision and all of the puppies end up in forever homes. The 12 strangers are random ages.
