My(31F) korean friend (36M) wants his conservative parents to have dinner with me and my family at our home on the day they arrive here for a vacation.

We are quite close and I can say we both like each other more than just friends. He went back to Korea for a few months and told me heâ€™s coming back with his parents. They will be here for a one week vacation and wants us to have dinner at my home. He asked if I could cook dinner. Is this normal? From what I know Korean parents are picky when meeting parents or family of people they are not familiar with.
TLDR: my friend wants his parents to have dinner at home with my parents on the day they arrive.
