My [18/M] friend/crush [19/F] played with my hair when we were watching a movie. Does this mean that (by Sparky)
My [18/M] friend/crush [19/F] played with my hair when we were watching a movie. Does this mean that she likes me, or is she just being friendly?
I've had a crush on my friend since I met her in high school. She's very pretty, and outgoing, while I'm shy and introverted. She went off to university, while I was still stuck in high school, but I reconnected with her when I graduated and came to her university.
She invited me over to her place yesterday and we watched a bunch of movies together. I was sitting on her couch, and she was getting close to me, then she started playing with my hair. I looked at her, and she smiled. It felt nice to have my hair played with, and I didn't want to mess things up so I didn't say anything to her, and we finished the movie in awkward silence.
I went home afterwards and she sent me this message, "I had a lot of fun with you tonight, we should do it again soon!" I said the same thing back to her.
I’m clueless around girls because I have no experience with them other than my friend, and she's the first crush I've had since elementary school. I really like her, and I don't want to screw things up, so when she played with my hair that meant something, right?
I don't know what to do, or what to think of this situation. Does she like me back? Should I tell her my feelings, and ask her out?
tl;dr: My friend and I were watching a movie, she started playing around with my hair, and it felt really nice, but now I’m not sure if she likes me, or is just being friendly.
