[UPDATE] Me (27m) with my wife (27f), together for 6 years. I'm pretty sure she's in love with her coworker.

Here's the original post.
So I talked to Maddie.
A few nights after I made that post, I got enough courage to confront her on it. To my surprise, she didn't fight me or argue with me on anything. She was completely candid with everything. And I brought up them sharing a room at the conference, and her eyes got huge and she let out the biggest laugh I have ever heard in my life.
She said "Oh my god, I was kidding!" and she couldn't stop laughing. She immediately stood up and showed me the receipts -- she's staying at a completely different hotel than he is. And she's on separate flights, a day ahead of his because she has to set up something. And she told me she made the joke because it was "the obvious joke" because they're so close.
I expressed my concern with how close they are, how much time they spend together, and she immediately told me that she'd quit her job if I wanted her to, she'd try to spend less time with him, etc.
She was so shocked and embarrassed about the whole thing that she called in sick into work for the last few days of the week and spent them with me, phone off, no contact with anyone. She immediately agreed to couples counseling and said she'd do whatever it took to win back my trust.
Now here's where it gets weird. Luke, apparently, has a girlfriend. I've heard the name floating around for a while, but apparently they've been together for like a year, and I just never realized it was a girlfriend's name. I was shocked. Maddie told me all about her, even showed me pictures of her. She said it didn't matter, she'd still up and quit her job or try to distance herself from Luke if she needed to.
The lunches were brought up in the comments and they never really seemed like something weird and when I told Maddie it seemed weird to other people (I said I posted about it on Dating.mobi and she rolled her eyes because she's not a big fan of Dating.mobi) she grabbed her phone and scrolled back forever until she got to a conversations where she'd given Luke one of my lunches because I didn't need it (got free lunch at work) and he was very complimentary and asked her to bring him some any time she made a specific recipe and she said she'd immediately stop if it bothered me. Honestly, that never bothered me as much.
I don't think I'm going to ask her to quit her job just yet. She gave me her phone and told me to scroll back and look through anything she had and even gave me her Facebook passwords and everything. It all checks out. They are definitely closer than the average coworker, I'll admit that. But what I read was more like brother and sister than anything else.
So in the end, we are definitely going to go through a round of counseling to see if there's anything that needs improvement between us. But I think I feel okay about this. Thanks, everyone. Thanks.

tl;dr: It's all okay. She's not actually staying in a hotel with him. She was honest about everything. And it's all good.
