[UPDATE] My [21/F] new boyfriend [22/M] makes passive aggressive comments about money that make me uncomfortable.

This was my original post;
https://www.reddit.com/r/relationshi...reddit-android
My new boyfriend had been making comments about money, and had done a number of really ****ty things. Everyone who responded was pretty much in agreement that I needed to leave him. Others thought I should look into a therapist, which I have been doing.
I talked to him about what be was doing to me. He said he had partially been aware of it, and was defensive about money because he recently moved out of his abusive mothers house. He used a lot of scapegoating and blamed her for his behaviour. In further conversation he admitted to being resentful of women. That they owed him something because they've always treated him badly, mainly his mother.
He tried to give me money to make amends but I didn't take it. He had every excuse in the book to justify his actions. But overall, he was aware of how he was treating me and it was intentional.
I broke up with him. We tried to be friends for a few days but I couldn't handle being around him. He's not friend material, much less boyfriend. Anyway, I gave him a long speech about how he was wrong and treated me poorly. And yes, I told him he was pretty average.
Then I deleted his number, blocked him on all social media and things of that nature. Thank you everyone who gave me advice!
TLDR; My boyfriend was making comments about money that were passive aggressive and nasty. After blaming his abusive behavior on his Mother, he admitted to knowingly taking advantage of me so I dumped him.
