Recently found out my boyfriend of a year [33 M] is married with a kid and has been lying to me [21F]

My boyfriend [33M] of a year has assured me [21F]for the past year that he is single and has even blamed me for being paranoid and crazy.
It wasn't until recently did I find out that he has a 4 year old kid and a wife. Even after I found out, he acted as though he lied to protect ME.He even tried to convince me to continue being his mistress KNOWINGLY which in my country btw is illegal and can be sentenced to jail. Also he continues to lie about how his marriage isn't the way I expect it to be... but then he wants me to lie to his wife.
Being softhearted as soon as he showed up at my door begging , I couldn't reject him...after all I do love him. But I do have morals.. so I took the opportunity to clear my head while he is out of the country and decided to get drunk and cry. After that I decided to tell his wife. He actually threatened me saying if I told her, he'll get back at me. However, he doesn't seem to realize, I don't care if I die so I literally have nothing to be afraid of.
His wife at first seem skeptical and asked me some questions. After that she called me but I was busy so I told her I would call her back. She didn't pick up though. Either way it's not my problem anymore.
I just wanted to get back at him, because he knew that my family went through the same thing except it was my mom who was cheated on and the impact it had on me. I hope he gets his Karma. Lying to two women and actually planned on continuing.

So sad to see what's happened to you. We live in world that has lots all sense of morality. You did no wrong to love him and you did all right to end it. It might be a tough time now but it will be behind you soon. Keep your head up.
