My (21f) mother (44f) stole my passport and tried to stop me from moving out of the country

My bf and I have been dating for a year and a half. The entire time we have both talked about moving and wanting to travel together. We have both gone on trips with each other and our relationship is great. Recently we decided that we would move to Cambodia. I told my mother a month ago and our relationship has been strained since. To be fair though our relationship has been strained for years.
Anyway, I invited my family over last week and to spend time before I move. When my family came to my house I explicitly told them I wanted no one in my room. My mother lied and told me she was going to the bathroom and actually snuck into my room and stole my passport so I couldn't move. Today I found out that she took it.
I had noticed my passport was missing and called to ask her if she knew where it was because I was suspicious of her. I called her and she told me I could have it back after the flight departed and when she decided she would give it back. I recorded our call and called the police. I had the option to have her charged with a felony but told the officer I just want my passport.
So after the officer talked to her she decided she would give it back to me. Of course only under one condition, I have to give back my car. My name and my stepfathers name is on the vehicle. I told her fine. I don't honestly want anything to do with her anymore and I am very upset she committed a felony and then got mad at me and retaliated by demanding I give her my vehicle.
I really don't want anything to do with her at this point. I am ******. I don't think I am going to talk to her for at least a year. I will talk to the rest of my family but what she did hurts. Am I over reacting for not wanting to talk to her or have her in my life anymore?
tl;dr My (21f) mother (44f) stole my passport and demands that I give her my car in order to get it back, wondering if I should cut her out of my life for a while.

Taking a damn passport is not a felony dumbazz. And saying don't go in my room? Good grief, what a loser.
