Dumped Profiles (by tractorjohn)
Yes, but you won't see theirs anymore.
The idea of the "dump" is to give you the option of never having to hear from that person again, which includes their messages, winks, roses, and now forum posts.
However, since all forums posts are "public", a dumped user can still read your posts, just like a dumped user can still read any message, wink, or rose you send to them.

On the Home Screen, go to "Favorites", then "People I Dumped", and then click on the [X] next to any user you wish to undump.
Yes, but you won't be bothered by what they wrote.
@Andres: What is the use of dumping a user if they can comment on my threads? On other dating sites one user can block another user from viewing & commenting on the Blocker's Thread. Like if I block you, you can no longer view my profile or comment on my threads, and I can not view your profile or comment on your thread. But if a 3rd party has a thread we both can comment on that users thread until the 3rd party blocks one of us or both of us. I am just wondering what's the use of dumping a user if they still can do anything they want? Thanks
I've never seen any forum work that way. The back-end of our forum is one of the most popular forum software's in the world and their ignore feature does not work the way you mentioned, nor would I expect it to.
Your suggestion could be quickly circumvented, because if you dump a user and block them from seeing your thread, they would just have to log out in order to view your thread (as a guest), therefore rendering the block useless.
Remember, the threads you create aren't "yours". They're public and owned by the entire "community", and no one should have the power to block anyone from participating in any thread, including the user who started the thread, because that opens up a can of worms that quickly becomes a slippery slope down the censorship hill. As a quick example, imagine someone is criticizing you in the forum and then blocks you from being able to defend yourself in that thread...

I think everyone needs to remember this is a "dating site" not a war zone.
Methinks if you dump a user and they harras you here, just ignore them! I only dump someone if they are crude and if their picture is sexually explicit cos i dont need to see their pride and glory on a social site and i did dump one guy cos he had pic of a one eyed snake on his profile!
