Was there a time when you left "Girl A" because you thought "Girl B" might be better? Only to realize "Girl A" was awesome? What happened?

I guess this is a grass is greener situation. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? What did you do? Did you go back to the initial girl?
Or, if you've never been in a situation like this - what would you do it you were in this situation?
