I [24F] found condoms from my boyfriend [26M] who claims they are old but they expire in 2022.

me and my boyfriend have been dating for 5 years, and i found condoms in his cupboard, he says they're from a long time ago (we dont use condoms) and i just believed it cause i don't have reasons to not believe it but i saw on them they expire in 2022. I searched online how long condoms should last and it says about 5 years. do condoms ever last longer than that? on the condom it says
ultra thin lubricated EXP2022-02-01 TT7052BZ9 10
my heart is kind of panicking, but i'm hoping im just overreacting and reading it wrong, and need some clarification here. thanks to anyone who can help or link me to a place that can. i checked trojan site but i couldnt find any info
Edit i looked online and found on another post that you can find out the manufacture date with these numbers and if i've read it correctly
There’s an expiration date and a group of numbers on the foil package of my condoms. What does that all mean? Example: 06-2013 DA0156GG3 How to read: The expiration date in this case is June 2013. The first two letters represent the plant. The first numeric digit represents the year of manufacture. The next three digits represent the day of the year of manufacture. Any remaining letters or numbers represent the dip line, foiling line, and the testing line. In the example above, the condom was produced on the 156th day of 2010.
that means the ones i found EXP2022-02-01 TT7052BZ9 10 - would have been made 2017 this February :(

tl;dr: found condoms that expire in 2022. was wondering if anyone can help me out with this so i dont jump to assumptions or if i should be...

Was the package open, were some missing?

In his cupboard? Maybe he's been using them with his dinner dates.
