How do you feel about the recent trend of people using the term 'females' when 'women' would've work (by Sparky)

How do you feel about the recent trend of people using the term 'females' when 'women' would've worked just fine?

I don't know why, but this bothers me. Maybe it's just a grammar thing? I'd like to know what /r/askwomen thinks about this one.

You're right . Female sounds too sexiest or animalistic while women represents a certain personality apart from the physicality . But I'm not sure if most people would notice the difference !
