The Food Group Game (by MrWalkSoftly)
(58 / M-F / Louisiana)Games are a good way to encourage forum newbies to want to post. So I thought I'd come up with one that could be fun and help that happen.
Now most forum games are old and played out so I thought I'd take a little bit from several different ones and make this one. It's a little complicated and you have to follow along to keep up, but that's a good thing IMO.
Okay, for starters, since there are different opinions on what the exact food groups really are, we're gonna go with these for the sake of this game, and in this order.
1. Vegetables
2. Fruits
3. Meats
4. Dairy
5. Grains (and we'll use cereals also)
How to play:
.It's alphabetical. A user will post a member of the first food group that starts with an "A".For example, the first group is Vegetables so someone will post, say, "Asparagus".
The next poster will then post a member of the NEXT food group, which is Fruits, that starts with a "B"....example "blackberry".
The next user will hafta post a member of the next food group, Meats, that starts with a "C".
It doesn't have to be a single item, it can also be a whole dish, as long as the meat is in the title, and the title starts with the appropriate letter. For example, Chicken fried steak.
Next would be dairy with a "D" then grains or cereals with an "E", then back to Vegetables with an "F".
Got it? Good, let's play, I'll go first...
