In the above video, Democrat Gov Terry McAuliffe of VA...giving an press conference in the immediate aftermath of the attack on Republican congressmen, stated that 93 Million Americans are killed by firearms everyday. Egads, we'll be extinct by tomorrow!
Of course, he made a gaffe and meant 93 a day.
But was it an accidental misspeak, or on purpose? He stated the "93 Million" twice and only corrected himself after prompted by a reporter.
Nevermind, let's go with the "93" number.
How many of those are suicides?
How many of those are homicides committed by individuals ALREADY not allowed by existing laws to possess firearms?
How many of those are bad guys stopped by a good guy with a firearm?
Speaking of which....the press conference he is shown speaking at is after an event where, up until this point, no innocent person has lost his or her life. In fact, the ONLY death so far is the attackers. AND he was stopped by a good guy with..... yep, a firearm.
Do NOT let these anti-gun liberals, like this governor, fool you. They don't want "common sense" gun laws. They want total, unequivocal, firearms bans, period.
The Constitution is Crystal clear on firearms ownership in the U.S.....The right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms shall NOT be infringed.
The gov of VA can go frick himself.....


And his pushing of a political agenda in the immediate wake of a tragedy is par for the course for the liberal left.
