Women who are generally unfriendly to other women: why?
I love it when I smile at another girl and they return a big, beautiful smile even if it's just in passing! I've found that some girls actually grimace if I smile at them which has always struck me as odd. Similar experiences when I meet friends of a friend. Some are super welcoming and some look like I stomped on their foot. I'm just wondering if they are just generally bitter or if something upset them that day or they just don't like being friendly.
Note: Not saying it's just girls that are unfriendly. I generally don't smile at guys (I don't know) because they have the tendency to be too friendly, if you know what I mean.
EDIT: Apparently some are reading way too much into my question. For the record, absolutely no one is obligated to be nice or smile at anyone. DUH. I'm just wondering what goes through your head when someone smiles at/compliments/greets you and why you may choose to (or not to) react in a "friendly" matter.

it's usually from jealousy to be honest. Bitter women are insecure.
