Went to the Ortho this morning, he says I have low grade arthritis in the knee from my accident 8yrs ago. He gave me an injection in the knee and said it should help it. The pain and swelling were because the knee got aggravated and it wouldn't calm down basically. He said the shot should fix it and I can go back to all normal activity... if in 3 to 6 weeks I have pain again or sooner if the pain comes back and worse we will look at it all again.

@jimn: it was indeed... if you've ever had knee pain I am sure you'd understand. I am just glad surgery is not needed at this time. I was worried I might need it.

@jimn: yea 8yrs ago this past week I was in a pretty bad car wreak and hit my knee on the part of the door that sticks out (don't know the technical term there lol) and ever since I have had issues. First time in months I have had relief from the pain... I honestly am just happy to not feel the constant pain lol
