I don't know much about protestants, but Catholic churches are ALWAYS packed... I hear protestants are having real problems filling pews.

It's kinda different here... denomination has went away.....it's more of an all come together thing.
IDK, I probably shouldn't guess at it. Been awhile since I sat in a pew.....just know what I see is all









Except for the Pentecostals, they're still jumping pews lol. No disrespect meant....that music they play is killer.

@junderhood: that's good. I live smack dab in the middle of the bible belt tho. Protestant parking lots are almost empty, while my church, the basilica of St. Lawrence in Asheville N.C. gets 500+ at every Mass. 3x a day!

I have noticed this...smaller churches have folded and people have flocked to bigger churches. Don't know how I feel about that. I've always loved small country churches where they still sing That Old Rugged Cross and Peace In The Valley.....

@junderhood: personally, I think people are starting to get fed up with being yelled at for two hours, every Sunday, about what they're doing wrong. People really prefer an hour of worshiping God and hearing of His love and mercy. MHO.

@Roachvaliek: not all yell allot churches are goin to straight worship services due to very problem you speak of. not all protestant churches are fire n brimstone
