What's a random fact about your dad? (by Sparky)
My dad was one of the first Americans to cross the bridge at Remagen in Germany in WWII.
He passed in '08. I still have his medals....

BTW, he received that purple heart for being shot in the azz....leaving a scar he had no shame in showing off when company was over

awesome he was prolly PROUD of that scar!!! ;)
Nothin like gettin shot in the butt for your country:)
Probably where I got my own "showing my azz" from lol
My Dad was a Helicopter pilot in vietnam. He got shot down twice. Once bringing in supplys to the Ho Chi minh trail camp and the other time picking up wounded in Laos when the US invaded Laos. He did two tours
Anytime my dad goes with me and my mom somewhere he doesn't let us get out of his site if anyone talks to us he is right there unless he knows them
My dad was a tough s.o.b. too. While he wasn't a soldier (much respect for those who were and are) he had his legs crushed by a two thousand pound block of steel on the job. Doc said he'd never walk again... He walked out of the hospital a couple months later and never let it slow him down. He also, because of a drunk coworker, lost his pointer and bird fingers on his left hand. Again, never bothered him. He taught me to give pain the finger... Literally, lol.
