I know many will disagree but I think giving a child timeout or making them sit in a corner is one of the laziest form of discipline there is. If they've acted up I believe in one warning to behave after that its good ole spanking time.

AMEN....I know first hand.......I personally give the warning...act right or time out......if we graduate to time out then I say after time out u still act up its the ass......if after the ass u still wanna be a fool its bedtime for the night...no treats no movies no extra special toys......I have a very rambunctious child...mommy DON'T PLAY

I used spankings when my kids were young...my grandmother used to say that's why you were given extra padding there lol...but now that they are almost grown if they step out of line I lock up all the chargers to their phones, tablets, and they don't get them back until I see significant change in their behaviors....usually about a week does it.
