Yes when I was elementary/high school we hunting the salagubang at the mango trees..after raining they will come out..we cook and ate it...mud fight?I almost forgot but I remember.. me and those my classmates on high school playing/swimming on the irrigation along the rice field..one of my classmate threw a mud toward me and accidentally hit my ears.....

....when I was elementary we always play on the grassland after school...those game are luksong tinik..luksong Baka...sipa...playing rubber band..after game we were totally sweat and dirty...so if i went back home..sermons..sermons..sermons...

And a lot more..my childhood time was memorable and enjoyable...ill cherish those memories and hopefully I had the chance to share it for my coming grandchildren...just like what my grandmother did..

@mrslilgurl31: what a wonderful childhood you had , sadly, more children are not into physical interaction and into getting their hands dirty playing now adays as technology steal those fun .

You ate the salagubang? Hahaha ! How do you cook salagubang ?!

I have had the same childhood memories but not during highschool as I must have to work to help the family .

Sometimes we went to "sapa" nearby the ricefield of my father to get some tulya (shell)..we cook it..either soup or fry or just boil..

Honestly we were soooo poor...cant able to provide those school project when i was in high school..but my grandparent and those my uncles and aunties encourage us to finish our studies...those were helping us...especially on the side of my father they were educated...only my father has no.luck but i dont blame him...i love my father and mother..

@jaynkslim: you indeed have had a wonderful childhood ..

Sadly, more children are now into virtual games :( . The are missing so much in life in their childhood - the fun of adventure outside the house and making physical interaction with other children are close to non-existent
