Hey, this is for the folks ib Louisiana. What do y'all think of the show? It kinda portrays your state as a bunch of crazy ass rednecks, don't ya think? Don't get me wrong I like the show and will watch again but it does kinda make y'all look nuttier than squirrel turds.

Kinda gotten away from watching it. I mean, to me, its the same thing every episode. Still one of the better "reality" shows out there.....it aint that Mob Wives or Love and Hip Hop crap that VH1 airs.

Are there crazy people here? Sure....just like there are crazy people all over. And Troy Landry has made a lil bit of bank using the show to market tshirts, caps and the like with his signature "Choot em!" Maybe his is crazy......like a fox.
Now if you mean "are there people living off the land"....absolutely. They gator hunt, crawfish, run nets, shrimp....depending what season it is. The numbers of people doing that is declining though.
