I've been on this website for a couple months now and I haven't really connected with somebody. When I try to message or wink at someone I rarely get a response. Is there something I should do to make my chances better?

Its probably just the particular women you are messaging/winking. Maybe try changing your picture to something that shows your face? Just a suggestion....
