The big music festival here in the uk called glastonbury, not on this cause of the olympics :)
In india many famous fest like diwali(in dis we use candles for lighting in whole house),holi( dis is colourful fest.in dis we use colour to each other)
I'm from australia...i'm lazing around at 5:21am and wondering how cadel evans is gunna get time on current leader of the tour dé france...
@swnhillguy: yeah the tour de france is causing a bit of contrevesy here, cause of the way bradley wiggins is winning.

In the Philippines, there's a lot of festivities but 2 festivals that I like most are the "panagbenga" or flower festival and " maskara" ( people wear masks while having a street parade or dancing )
