New Anti-Scammer Feature: Only your Verified Phone Number can be Shared with other Members (by Andres)
Hi Folks,
In our continuous quest to keep Dating.mobi the safest dating site on the planet, we no longer allow users to write and send their phone numbers through messages to other users. Instead, we've added a new feature that allows users to share their Verified Phone Number attached to their account with any user by simply checking the "Send user my Phone Number" checkbox on the "Send Message" page. When that option is selected, your verified phone number is automatically attached to the bottom of the message you are sending.
From now on, if a member tries to write their phone number in a message, the phone number will be automatically removed and an alert will be sent to us. If we get too many alerts from a member trying to send their phone number without using the new feature, we will ban their account.
This was necessary because we've noticed that scammers like to register their account with one number (e.g. a real mobile number), and then try to bait unsuspecting members with a completely different number (e.g. a virtual number).
To clarify, you are no longer allowed to write ANY contact info (phone number, e-mail, Facebook, etc.) in the Dating.mobi messaging system or you risk having your account permanently banned. It's for your own safety.
So we've made it both easier and safer to share your phone numbers here on Dating.mobi!
This is a completely new feature, so please report any bugs and leave your feedback here in this thread.
Thanks!

For the record.. I tested the system
I just changed my phone number with my carrier. Then changed it with Dating.mobi. And I also changed my email. In other words.
The system is working perfectly.
It only took 4 min to complete, these changes.(only seconds to confirm my phone number)
There are NO excuses.
Thank you Andres. :-)

@Andres: Good job....
Can you just check the "send my number box" and hit send, or does something have to be typed in the reply box?
Also, anything to the rumor I heard abt a possible Dating.mobi Getjar app?

@WalkSoftly: No, just check the box, if "send number". Then hit send message. It goes automatically printed in the message. It is an option.

I did that, didn't work, so I tried filling the re: box, wrote message, checked the Send my number box and send ..still didn't work
