I am not proposing lol. But when you are asked that ? How important is the ring? Does there have to be a ring given at that time?

I think it depends... I am romantic at heart enough to say, I think it should be, but I am practical enough to realize that rings are expensive and might take time to get... or the guy wants to make sure she'll actually like it. SO yeah, I think it depends. lol

-to add a note-
I'd say yes to a ring pop if I knew the guy meant it, tbh. lmao. I am not a ring person anyways....

No ring at the time its just a symbol. Its the hearts and the faith and trust in each other that matters.

To be honest... the ring makes it more... REAL... but if its true love & your strapped for cash she will understand. HOWEVER you could always by a silver rimg that wont turn her fimger green as a promise for a real one... women are so very different. No matter how much we can be alike. :) good luck.

Ring is a must lol, though it doesnt necessarily have to be the most expensive thing out there. Get something at a decent price that looks good, and is at least metal lol

Lol i heard a survey yesterday and one of the 5 top reasons a man wont pop the ? Is he cant afford a ring. For me as a man i couldnt image not haveing a ring or atleast a bread tie. To me that would seal the deal. Guys what do u say?

I thought Dan is proposing to all women members here joke !

In my tradition yes, there should be a ring and I personally love to have it given at the time of proposal. There are engagement ring and wedding ring practice in my tradition and it doesn't matter whether it's expensive or just a fancy ring . Ring for me is a symbol of lasting love and commitment :)

This is a touchy topic for me personally. if the right man for me was to propose to me. I would freak out. if your wondering why? its because the trust honesty cheating of a man. Of going threw again.. it takes one man or one woman to mess it up for the others out there. I know ive been there seen it and been threw it myself. Mother of 1
